1. General Warranty Terms
Is your product defective/damaged?
You may return a product within the prescribed warranty period. Please contact online customer support via WhatsApp at +27 63 294 2372 for assistance with your product return.
Defective returns will be refunded, exchanged, or repaired at the sole discretion of the manufacturer or distributor.
Warranty
- All new products are warranted against defects for six (6) months from the date supplied, unless otherwise stated on the product, product page, or warranty page (statutory warranty per the Consumer Protection Act of 2008).
- Products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranties and terms & conditions.
- Defective products within the statutory warranty period (6 months) may be returned for repair, replacement, or refund. Defective products are those that had a defect or were unsafe when supplied. Proof of defect is required.
- Upon notification, we will provide return details. The manufacturer/distributor determines if the warranty applies and will decide on repair, replacement, or refund.
- If a product is found defective within 7 days of receipt, we will collect and return it at our cost, subject to warranty approval.
- If found defective after 7 days but still within warranty, the cost of returning the product is for your account; we will cover the cost of returning the repaired/replaced product. If not honored, all return costs are for your account.
- Repairs are performed by the manufacturer. Assessment: 2–5 working days; repair: 2–7 working days, subject to spares availability. Repaired products are warranted for the remaining statutory period plus three months from return.
2. Manufacturer-Specific Warranty Information
AQUA MAX Pool Pumps (by POOL DC)
- Warranty Period: 24 months from purchase date.
- Coverage: Defects in material and workmanship. Does not cover travel, installation, or labor for removal/reinstallation. Electrical components in the terminal box are excluded unless a surge protector is installed.
- Process: At AQUA MAX’s or distributor’s discretion, products will be repaired, replaced, or credited (excluding shipping costs). Repairs are carried out by the manufacturer.
- Surge Protector: Strongly recommended due to load shedding.
- Limitations: Warranty is void if manual provisions are not followed. Only original purchase date applies to warranty periods.
- Proof of Purchase: Required for claims.
EARTHECO Pool Pumps
- Warranty Period: 24 months from purchase date.
- Coverage: Defects in material and workmanship. Does not cover travel, installation, or labor for removal/reinstallation. Electrical components in the terminal box are excluded unless a surge protector is installed.
- Process: At EARTHECO’s or distributor’s discretion, products will be repaired, replaced, or credited (excluding shipping costs). Repairs are carried out by the manufacturer.
- Surge Protector: Strongly recommended due to load shedding.
- Limitations: Warranty is void if manual provisions are not followed. Only original purchase date applies to warranty periods.
- Proof of Purchase: Required for claims.
QUALITY BY FLUIDRA (Swimflo 2 Pool Pumps)
- Warranty Period: 3 years from purchase date (subject to proper use and regular cleaning).
- Coverage: Defects in material and workmanship. Does not cover travel, installation, or labor for removal/reinstallation.
- Process: At Fluidra’s or distributor’s discretion, products will be repaired, replaced, or credited (excluding shipping costs). Repairs are carried out by the manufacturer.
- Surge Protector: Strongly recommended due to load shedding.
- Limitations: Warranty is void if manual provisions are not followed. Only original purchase date applies to warranty periods. Proof of purchase is required.
STORM (AquaKing Storm Sand Filters)
- Warranty Period: 24 months on tank, 12 months on multiport valve/internal parts.
- Coverage: Defects in material and workmanship. Does not cover travel, installation, or labor for removal/reinstallation.
- Process: At AquaKing Storm’s discretion, products will be repaired, replaced, or credited (excluding shipping costs). Repairs are carried out by the manufacturer.
- Limitations: Warranty is void if manual provisions are not followed. Only original purchase date applies to warranty periods. Proof of purchase is required.
AQUA MAX Pool Filters (by POOL DC)
- Warranty Period: 24 months on the tank, 12 months on the multiport valve and internal parts, calculated from the date of purchase, under normal operating conditions and when installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Coverage: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on the product itself. It does not cover travel, installation, or labor costs associated with the removal and/or reinstallation of the product.
- Process: At the sole discretion of POOL DC (the manufacturer) or its authorized distributors:
- The product or parts found to be defective in material or workmanship will be repaired at no cost to the customer, or
- The product may be replaced, or
- A credit note may be issued at the original purchase price (excluding delivery/shipping costs) for the defective goods or parts, within 7 days of the purchase date.
- Repair Procedure: Repairs are not carried out by PoolShopOnline; the product will be sent to POOL DC for assessment and repair. Assessment typically takes 2–5 working days, with repair requiring an additional 2–7 working days depending on the extent of the repair and the availability of spare parts. PoolShopOnline will keep you updated on the progress.
- Limitations and Exclusions: The warranty is void if the product is not installed or used according to the manufacturer’s manual and accepted engineering practices. The warranty does not cover damages or delays caused by failure to comply with the manual, nor does it cover travel, installation, or labor costs. Warranty periods for repaired or replaced goods remain as specified from the original purchase date.
- Proof of Purchase: Please retain your purchase receipt, as it is required for all warranty claims.

UNI PREMIUM Sand Filters
- Warranty Period: 60 months on tank, 24 months on multiport valve/internal parts from purchase date.
- Coverage: Defects in material and workmanship. Does not cover travel, installation, or labor for removal/reinstallation. Installation must include unions on return pump and backwash connections per manual.
- Process: At Uni Pumps’ discretion, products will be repaired, replaced, or credited (excluding shipping costs). Repairs are carried out by the manufacturer.
- Limitations: Warranty is void if manual provisions are not followed. Only original purchase date applies to warranty periods. Proof of purchase is required.
